spm06 has started a few weeks ago.. but it's not too late to wish my banchik (muhammad syukur), my tkc juniors esp sue n dinie, gud luck!! i know u guys can do it! my prayers r always be with u..

Posting: GP n KKBH

yeah, finally i'm back in bkt. jalil! 3 n a half days at KKBH (Kuala Kubu Bharu hosp. a.k.a. Kiri Kanan Bukit) were so tiring, mentally la. can't wait to come back in kl when thinking of the mosquitoes, food, no intrnt n laptop.. tho the experiences are priceless, my bed in vista is calling for me ;p

I had so much fun during the GP posting in klinik munirah iskandar, SP n esp. in Pmtg Pauh. Dr. Munirah n Dr. Iskandar were very friendly n generous. they shared their experience while studying medicine in Belgium, study tips, non-study fatcs, etc.. believe me, their time were much much harder than us in IMU now! since we're learning medic in intergrated system, we dun really hav to memorize the anatomy so much as they had to. yeah, Dr. Iskandar is soo good at anatomy! quoted from him: ' ni yg nk gelak org tak blaja anatomy nih!' when he asked me about a muscle, n i only smiled to reply it. *duh..malunye!* kesimpulannye, know your anatomy, esp the muscle n their innervations cos most patients come to GP clinic for having 'sakit2 badan'.

KKBH was more interesting. on d first day, my group was sent to O&G ward. so, we just had to clerk pt without doing physical examination since haven't learnt repro yet. in d evening, Dr. Lim showed how to palpate a pregnant mom's abdomen. it was so exciting! i managed to palpate n feel the feotus's back. basically, we'll know the feotus's position by palpating, whether it's lying cephalically on left or right occiput anterior (dunno whether i'm saying it the right way).. wuteva, it was so exciting! 2nd day, i clerked a female pt. i found out that she's a jawa! n i have darah jawa also ;p now i know what 'tok nyai' meant.. all these while asyik sebut tapi xtau the meaning..hehe.. that afternoon i went to A&E, n i was lucky to see an abdominal x-ray. it was so clear that the pt has multiple gallstones, 10 gallstones! interesting kan? hmm.. 3rd day i clerked a young patient who was suspected to have hypertension, same age as me.. takutnya..

there i met an uncle, quite old la.. everyday he will come to the hosp to visit his wife, admitted since last 2 months for having asthma. kesian sgt kt dia, dah tua, agak miskin, gigi atas dah xde, xde anak.. so touching the 1st time met him at the canteen. he talks a lot, sempat lg dia cerita experience ms zaman jepun dulu. dia ckp kita skrg bertuah la, negara dah aman. should bersyukur..(Alhamdulillah).. then, when we were waiting for the bus to pick us up on the last day, he was on the way to a shop to buy diapers for his wife. again, terdetik rasa kesian kt dia. sayang nya dia kt wife dia. bertuah wife dia dpt husband yg baik tho x kaya harta kan? kita ni, jgn dok pndg harta sgt.. x ke mana harta tu byk2 kalo dah mati. tp ye la, kalo byk duit sure boleh dpt health care yg lg bagus kan..hm..insyaAllah, when my parents sakit, i'll take care of them. they still hav children to count on to.. cam pakcik td, they r unfortunate cos they dun hav kids.. maybe things wl b different if they hav kids.. *sumthing to think about*
